  1. There are some mothers that breastfeed their child, however it becomes painful and unbearable. Is not that they opt not to breastfeeding, the pain is more strong and fearful. Moms still love their child but in order to care for them they need to care for them selves first.

  3. Dear Ms. Julia,

Your blog regarding breast-feeding brought forth some of the very important points that a mother should know. Yes, studies have shown that breast-fed babies have higher IQs. Breast feeding also build a strong immune-system and keeps them healthier because they pass on immunities to their babies. As you said, it develops a great bond between the mother and the child, which is most important. It is a healthy experience and, as you said, a great introduction to motherhood. Breast feeding also makes the mothers to understand the stage of growing and makes them realize that they too suckled when they were a baby.

  4. I wished I could have breastfeed, but it just didnt worked out for me. I tried, but it was just not happening and my baby was still hungry and frustated. I never could understand why, bacuse I had milk to pump enough to feed him out from the bottle.... So, my option was to pump out and than give to the baby, which is still breastfeeding. I am having my second baby next year and I will try again.
The benefits of mommy's milk outweighs the formula by far. It is the best thing that a mother can do for her child as early after bringing him/her into the world. besides everything that is advertised now as formula wise, nothing comes close to mother's milk. This is the natural way how a newborn feeds and gets nutrients and antibodies.
I dont know what I would have done without a pump though...
